This new laser (a powerful beam of light) has advantages, such as:
-less bleeding;
-less swelling;
-less bruising after surgery;
-more precision;
-faster healing;
-etc.
On the other hand, laser treatments require special expertise by the surgeon, special training for the nursing staff,
taking precautions to avoid accidental laser injury and additional expense.
Laser procedures, like any other surgical or medical procedure, entail certain
risks, such as skin redness, skin spotting, scarring, accidental laser injury, etc. These risks are possible, but not common.
In most cases, the use of this new laser helps the patients to resume their normal activities and look presentable faster than with conventional surgery.
